La ayuda se materializó por orientación de la mandataria regional Yelitza Santaella a través de InsaMonagas y la Misión Médica Cubana (MMC) en la cual se hizo entrega de polivitamínicos, antipiréticos, antibióticos entre otros para la atención de las familias que se encuentra en situación de vulnerabilidad en los refugios del municipio Sotillo.
La entrega la hizo la autoridad regional de salud, Dra. Aurora Nava, a la Lcda. Marbels Guzmán directora del Hospital “Dr. Tulio López Ramírez” y la epidemióloga Dra. Neiri Ruíz, para mantener las jornadas de atención mientras dure la contingencia en la municpalidad.
